ATHLETE Biography
Phil Reed Jr. has quickly emerged as one of California’s premier freshman guards and one of the top early names in the national Class of 2029 conversation. As a freshman at Palisades High School, Reed delivered immediate varsity production while helping lead Palisades to a Division II state semifinal run. MaxPreps listed him as a Freshman All-American after averaging 18 points, 8 rebounds, 7 assists, and 3 steals per game. Reed is a big, polished lead guard with the ability to control tempo, create for teammates, score at all three levels, and impact the game physically as a rebounder and defender.
